About us

We teach students how to think about their thinking.

At Link, our desire is to help learners who struggle academically with topics such as spelling, reading, writing, and math.  However, we do not stop there. We also target underlying cognitive abilities like attention, memory, reasoning, and critical thinking skills. We work with students who are challenged by learning differences and we use a personalized, multi-modal approach that helps them develop new “neuro-links” (neural brain pathways) for learning.

Our Method

Our Educational Therapists are trained in methods that are based in research and tailored for the specific needs of each individual learner. Research shows that multi-modal, systematic, and explicit instruction helps students with learning challenges process information in a way that is unique to their thinking. All of the therapies we offer integrate cognitive and perceptual skills (like processing speed, working memory, visual imagery, and executive function) with academic skills. These therapies also help students develop affective and non-cognitive skills (like perseverance, self-regulation, and resilience). We don’t just teach students WHAT to learn, we teach them HOW to learn. Our goal is excellence so that our students gain confidence and become independent learners for life.

Our Students

We work with children and teens who have difficulty with thinking and learning due to:
Specific Learning Disabilities
Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia
Processing Deficits
ADD/ADHD
Developmental Disabilities
We are committed to empowering every learner to achieve their fullest potential.

Our beliefs

We believe we are each uniquely created by God.

We believe that all students can learn. We believe that  we can be transformed by the renewing of our minds (Romans 12:2).

We believe there is WONDER to be found in each of us…the feeling of surprise mingled with admiration caused by something beautiful, unexpected, unfamiliar, or inexplicable.

We believe there is WONDER to be experienced in learning…the desire to be curious to know something.

We believe each student is a WONDER.

We believe each student has a good plan that God has for them.

“We will tell of all your wonders.” Psalm 9:1
